Hatta Valley and Desert Safari From Dubai - Reiseverlauf




For your exciting Hatta Valley and Desert Safariyou will be picked up in a 4WD vehicle from your hotel in Dubai and taken on a tour of the two contrasting landscapes – the lush valley of Wadi Hatta and the UAE desert. Wadi Hatta is about 120 kilometers from the city of Dubai. An English-speaking guide will accompany you on this tour.

This full day tour takes you to the old village of Hatta, the only mountain resort in the Emirates, and treats you to a thrilling drive through the desert wilderness.

The route briefly takes us along Hatta highway that leads to Oman. A short stop at a local market allows a refreshing break before reaching Hatta Heritage Village. Constructed around an old settlement, this is a re-creation of a traditional mountain village set in an oasis.

Pleasant greenery, sharp turns, dry mountainous paths and dramatic rock formations impart an authentic sense of adventure. We pass by exciting 'wadis' in the Hatta region. Open waters and deep trenches provide an opportunity to swim.

Lunch is at Hatta Fort Hotel, set in 80 acres of manicured gardens, surrounded by the majestic Hajar Mountain range and wild nature. You will enjoy a 'set-menu' lunch that offers three choices (see the Additional Information section on this website for more details).

In the afternoon, you will be taken into the desert to experience the thrill of a lifetime as the driver takes your 4WD vehicle over the seemingly endless dunes. Like a roller coaster ride, you will go up and down, leaving behind a trail on the satiny sands. Dip low in the deep trenches and rise high on the pinnacle of the dunes. Drive up to the highest dune and take a break to view the spectacular sunset over the horizon.

Proceed towards the Bedouin campsite located in the heart of the desert. Here you can relish a delicious three-course barbeque buffet dinner (for Menu see Additional Information on this website) get yourself adorned with beautiful henna tattoos, dress in Arab costumes and enjoy a belly dance performance. You also have an option to take a camel ride and try out different flavors in a shisha or hubbly bubbly (traditional water pipe).

After a memorable day of desert exploration, you will be dropped back to your hotel in Dubai.

The maximum waiting time for the hotel pick-up is 10 minutes. The driver has to leave after this time has elapsed. Cancellation or refund is not allowed if you miss your pick-up time
This tour need minimum 4 passengers to operate the tour. Please call the local isango! partner at least 48 hours before the tour to reconfirm the details. In case the minimum passenger requirement is not met the tour will be cancelled and booking amount will be refunded to you

Facilities at the hotel are payable like swimming pool (approx 10 USD per person), mini-golf (approx 5 USD per person), archery (approx 7 USD per person)
The tour is not recommended for heart patients and clients with neck and back problems

Carry swim suits and towels if you would like to swim. It is also a good idea to bring sun-screen and a hat. Don't forget the camera but we strongly advise you not to take photos of Arab women without permission. Photography of government and military installations is prohibited
