The spectacular Cathedral of Santa María de la Sede in Seville is one of the world's greatest architectural jewels and was also declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1987. Its enormous interior has a nave and four central corridors and although it is decorated with oppulence, it keeps the sense of simplicity and measure in decoration. The Cathedral is home to the largest Gothic altarpiece in the world.
