Bukchon: Before visiting the actual Bukchon Hanok Village, gather some information about this recreated village from long ago at the Bukchon Cultural Center. Witness the exhibits and films relating to the history of Bukchon and learn about the traditional Korean lifestyle. Then, reach the village to see the beautiful traditional Korean wooden houses called ‘hanoks’ that date back to the Joseon Dynasty and serve as present-day cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants and tea houses.

Jongmyo Royal Shrine: Visit this UNESCO World Heritage site, which is a Confucian shrine dedicated to the upholding of memorial services for the deceased kings and queens of the Korean Joseon Dynasty. (If this tour is on a Tuesday, you shall be visiting the bustling streets of ‘Insadong’ instead, filled with art galleries, traditional craft stores, antique art dealers, traditional tea houses and restaurants.

Changdeokgung Palace: Move further to this UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site that is known to be the most well-preserved of the five remaining royal Joseon palaces. Walk around its beautiful garden and marvel at the splendid architecture of this palace that represents the beauty of Korea. (If this tour is on a Monday, you shall be visiting the Gyeongbokgung Palace instead.)

Sejong Center: Enjoy a visit to the largest multicultural art center in Seoul that is one of the world’s best performance venues. Check out the brilliant architecture that blends traditional Korean and modern design and admire the outdoor fountain and beautiful garden. (If your tour is on a Monday, prepare to visit the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History instead, Korea's first museum that recorded the nation’s comprehensive history from the late 19th century to the present time.)

Take a lunch break and indulge in Hanjeongsik - a traditional Korean-style full course meal with an array of savoury side dishes.

Suwon Hwaseong Fortress: Enjoy a walking tour around this 18th century structure and witness its unique architecture. The official fortress of Suwon-si - Suwon Hwaseong Fortress was built from 1794 to 1796 by King Jeongjo of the Joseon Dynasty to house and honour the remains of his executed father and has been designated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site and even as Historical Monument No. 3!

Hwaseong Haenggung Palace: This is another must-visit historical monument in South Korea, located within the walls of the Hwaseong Fortress. This ornate residential palace of King Jeongjo was used when he travelled during war times or when he visited tombs.
