The Sanctuary of Loyola stands along the river Urola at the neighbourhood of Loyola. The sanctuary built in Churrigueresque Baroque style honours the memory of St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus.

San Sebastián is a city on the coast of the Bay of Biscay, about 20 kilometres from the French border. Locals call themselves donostiarra. Commerce and tourism are the main economic activities as it is a famous tourist destination in Spain. The San Sebastián International Film Festival gives to the city an international dimension.
