Those keen on reliving wartime history must visit the nearby Cu Chi Tunnels 75 km from Saigon part of a huge network of underground passages made up of 250 km of tunnels and chambers that were dug with bare hands or basic tools during the French occupation in the 1940s and further expanded during the American war in the 1960s.
