Vancouver Island: Butchart Gardens und Victoria mit High Tea - Private Tour

This exciting day begins with a forty-five-minute drive south out of the city to Tsawwassen, the closest point of land between the mainland and Vancouver Island. At the BC Ferries Terminal, your private vehicle will drive right onto a ferry belonging to the second largest ferry fleet in the world.

At sea during your 90-minute crossing through the gulf islands, you will have a chance to enjoy the on-board ferry amenities such as full restaurant service, gift shops, or video games for the kids. Mostly, you’ll be walking around the deck, with your eyes on the water searching for orcas, eagles, or seals. Once on the island, our first stop will be at the world-famous Butchart Gardens which offers 50 acres of flowers and spectacular English rose, Japanese and Italian gardens!

Leave the gardens behind and drive down the Saanich Peninsula to the heart of Victoria. The Inner Harbour is a legacy to one of Canada’s most notable architects, Francis Rattenbury, as the skyline is dominated by two of his most famous works the Parliament Buildings and The Fairmont Empress Hotel, suggested optional activities are a visit to the Royal BC Museum, Government street, and Chinatown. This exciting day will conclude at your Vancouver hotel following a relaxing return by ferry ride.

Guests have the option to add to their tour High Tea or Gourmet box lunch prepared by our local Chef Marianne Schivy with delicious local West Coast flavors. Please note the menu is subject to change depending on the season.

The tour with High Tea will be offered at the Dining room looking at the beautiful gardens at Butchart Gardens or the Fairmont Empress. Please note the location is based on availability and will be confirmed on the day of your tour.

The tour with Gourmet Box Lunch includes: Cranberry Quinoa Salad with Sunflower seeds, Fresh Whole Seasonal Fruit, Crackers, Choice of European Style Ham & Mozzarella Cheese Sandwich OR Smoked Montreal Beef or Swiss Cheese Sandwich OR Vegetarian Sandwich with Hummus, Choice of Homemade Cookie OR Gourmet Chocolate and Bottled Water/Soda/Sparkling Water.
